The cold can be very dangerous for your health.especially for people with chronic diseases or other risk groups.

This is the warning they have issued from the ‘X’ account of the Ministry of Health, given the low temperatures that have been recorded in recent days.

In that sense, in said publication they make a series of recommendations for when they occur. these freezing temperatures.

From the Ministry they advise:

  • Breathe through your nose to warm the air that reaches your lungs.
  • Be careful on ice and wear non-slip shoes.
  • Be careful with vulnerable people.
  • Wear several thin layers of clothing. They protect more.
  • Ventilate the house if using a brazier.
  • You don’t take over-the-counter medications.
  • Follow a varied diet, including hot drinks.
  • Get vaccinated against the flu in people over 65 years of age.
  • Find out about the temperature before leaving home.

And these recommendations are fundamental, since the Three Wise Men have left temperatures “icy”. As indicated by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) this Wednesday in ‘X’, thermometers dropped to -17.3ºC in Pradollano (Sierra Nevada National Park, Granada) during the early hours of January 6 and to -14ºC in Molina de Aragón (Guadalajara).

Otherwise, -13.9ºC were recorded at the Sierra Nevada Radio Telescope; -13.4ºC in Laguna Seca in Sierra Nevada; -13ºC in Port Ainé (Lleida); and -12.7ºC in Cabaña Verónica (Picos de Europa National Park, Cantabria).

“The early morning of the 7th will be cold again: it will drop below -10 ºC in the Pyrenees and moorlands of Aragon, and again, below -14 ºC in Molina and surrounding areas,” the state agency stated.
