The Andalusia virtual health card can be used starting this Thursday, March 26 through mobile phones and tablets. It will also activate the Virtual Waiting Room“an innovative system that is activated during peaks of high demand to guarantee that the ClicSalud+ portal and the Professional Electronic Window (VEC) never go down”; he Virtual Health Districtwhich will offer an alternative in case there is no appointment at the health center; the direct pharmacy-doctor communication for chronic patients who need to renew their medication; in addition to guaranteeing “that no one is left behind in this revolutiontraining our elders in the use of these SAS digital tools”, with the support of the Puntos Vuela Network, which has more than 760 centers in Andalusia.

“With this card we eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic borders and demonstrate that Andalusia is moving towards zero paper with secure digitization“, he stated, recalling that all these measures are part of the Digital Health Strategy 2030 (ESDA), which, he detailed, “will integrate information and communication technologies to optimize management, improve accessibility and personalize patient care, laying the foundations for a more efficient and citizen-centered health system.”
